Guideline & Tips - How to Choose Your Lorry to SAVE Cost

• 1-Ton lorry (suitable for can carry 1 queen size bed, 2 single bed, 1 washing machine, 1 freezer, 1 sofa (3 seaters) and 5 small boxes.
• 3-ton lorry can carry 3 queen size beds, 3 single beds, 1 dining table (5ft x 3 ft), 2 wardrobes (5ft x 3 ft) 1 washing machine, 1 freezer, 1 sofa (5-seater) and 10 small boxes.
• 5-ton lorry is needed when you need to move special item like big dinning table (8 seats) or piano or safety box.

Fragile Items or Loose Furniture and Pack Your Items

• Please prepare boxes and ensure your items are properly packed before the lorry arrives to avoid additional surcharges for manpower assistance.
• Grabmaid and the vendor partner will not be responsible for any damage to fragile items or for any parts that become loose during the relocation, dismantling, or assembling process.

Our Services and Get More Space for The Lorry

• The lorry mover service is within Klang Valley and the price displayed above is per trip only (including PJ, Sunway, Subang Jaya, Puchong, Seri Kembangan, Cheras, KL, Gombak, Selayang).
• There would be outstation surcharge / toll surcharge / distance surcharge for Klang, Shah Alam, Setia Alam, Sungai Buloh, Rawang, Kajang, Semenyih, Bangi, Serdang, Putrajaya, Cyberjaya or inter-state (outstation) location.
• Workers will help to dismantle furniture and fix it back later and we help to stack goods & furniture to maximize the space in lorry.
• Additional cost for following trips will be incurred which depending on half trip or full trip lorry.

What Can Our Workers (Helpers) Do For You And Don’t:-

• Including dismantle and assemble works of furniture and items.
• Providing stretch film service for wrapping and unwrapping furniture and items.
• Two workers usually can lift up to maximum 50kg of goods and furniture at one time.
• {Heavy Items} If you need to move or carry items weighing more than 50kg, you may be required to add and book extra workers in advance. Alternatively, an additional RM50 per worker is appreciated as a token of appreciation during the moving process.
• {No Lift Access} All workers and crew are assigned to carry furniture and goods for properties with lift access. For properties without a lift especially flat and apartment or shop-lot, an additional charge of RM25 per floor per worker will be incurred as a token of appreciation for the extra effort required to move items via the staircase.

Extra Workers Needed:-

• If you need to move heavy furniture, or expensive and extensive care of goods (piano, marble dining table, safety box and etc.), and you may need to add on extra workers to ensure all jobs can be completed on time with special care.

Stretch Film Service - Wrapping & Unpack The Furniture and Items:-

• Our workers will help to wrap the furniture and items (include manpower for wrapping).
• You can pay it later to our helper if you plan to subscribe the stretch film service on site (RM 20 per furniture or each item).
• For 1-Ton Lorry, standard wrapping service includes 1 queen-size bed, 2 single beds, 1 washing machine, 1 freezer, 1 three-seater sofa, and 5 small boxes. Any additional items requiring wrapping on-site will be subject to extra charges.
• 1-Ton Lorry will usually be provided with 1 Roll Stretch Film
• 3-Ton Lorry will usually be provided with 2 Rolls Stretch Film
• 5-Ton Lorry will usually be provided with 3 Rolls Stretch Film

• Built-up Area, you need to calculate the entire Built-up Area / Add On All Floors’ Space of the house/property (if the property is Double Storey Terrace House, you need to add the 1st Floor Space + 2nd Floor Space, as to get the total SQFT).
• Once you have obtained the total SQFT, you can select and book the Post Renovation Cleaning or Move In-Out Cleaning that based on the best suitable package or closer size of sqft as abovementioned.
• Built-up Area, you need to calculate the entire Built-up Area / Add On All Floors’ Space of the house/property (if the property is Double Storey Terrace House, you need to add the 1st Floor Space + 2nd Floor Space, as to get the total SQFT).
• Once you have obtained the total SQFT, you can select and book the best suitable package or closer size of sqft as abovementioned.
• Please select the Move-out Cleaning / Check-out Cleaning when your tenant has moved out, as the house condition if usually very dirty and mess up, so only Check-out Cleaning service available at moving-out location.
• Please Contact the Customer Service at +60 11-2577 4559 (Ms Monica) should you need the Post Renovation Cleaning service, or when you house just renovated or involved any hacking works or installation works, we strongly recommend you call us and to get the right cleaning package.

Remarks on Lorry Services:-

• The earliest session will be available for booking is 5-day in advance.
• Our transport mover services are not provided during Public Holiday.
• In standard practice, the lorry mover will reach your destination in the morning.
• Please register the moving service with your Management Office and kindly ensure that the building or property permits moving activities on the scheduled booking date.
